  The Center for Cultural Diplomacy Studies (of the ICD Academy for Cultural Diplomacy) is the world’s leading center for the study of cultural diplomacy, offering educational opportunities ranging from week-long seminars for undergraduate students and interested professionals, to Master’s and Doctoral programs for graduates pursuing careers in academia, diplomacy, government, and/or the private sector, dedicated either wholly or in part to the field of cultural diplomacy.

  In the year 2011, the international community witnessed historical events that changed the political landscape of the globe, ranging from the Arab Spring, to the “Occupy Wall Street Movement” and other protest movements around the globe. These events represent, each in their own specific context, the people’s will for a change, whether it is political, economic or social and their unified demand for more equality and justice. The ICD therefore decided to focus the 2012 International Symposia on Cultural Diplomacy on this common goal of the public for more equality in the political, economic and social spheres.

  Mon désir est de faire carrière dans le domaine des achats internationaux (Purchasing) au contrôle des opérations de fusions & absorptions.
  
  Pour cela, je souhaite effectuer mon master à la FH Worms… Avez-vous des informations concernant cette Université? Plus particulièrement son programme Master IBA and foreign change dispensé en Anglais ?

  Voilà un an et demi que je vis à Hambourg, où je suis partie à la base en tant qu’assistante de français dans un lycée. L’année suivante, j’ai réussi à m’inscrire à la fac pour y finir mes études.

  The Degree
  While the study of political science has been a cherished tradition of academia, recent developments demand the identification of entirely new theories and models. An understanding of the challenges faced by the contemporary world requires an interdisciplinary approach; International Relations and Diplomacy should not be understood only as disciplines of Political Science or Political Theory, but also be interpreted from the perspective of art and culture, economics, law, and other social sciences.
  
  Offered by the DIU in partnership with the ICD, the program combines the traditional academic components of international relations with a focus on the role of soft power and cultural diplomacy in contemporary global affairs. Only with a comprehensive understanding of the theory, history and practice of International Relations one can properly understand and apply cultural diplomacy.
